Installing and starting the Provisioning Agent
Once the Provisioning Agent application is downloaded, you can proceed with the installation.
-
Download the Provisioning Agent Application. For more information see “Downloading the Provisioning agent from Circuit”.
- Copy the downloaded files to the targeted system (e.g. computer on which you want to install the Provisioning Agent).
- Unzip the downloaded file and click the startup.bat (on Windows machine) or startup.sh (on Linux machine).
The Provisioning Agent will be up and running on the targeted system.
- Open a web browser and navigate to the URI where the Agent was started (e.g. http://localhost:8080).
Run the Provisioning Agent to a Window machine that resides within your network. If your network requires a proxy to interface with public cloud, ensure that you configure the details of your proxy under thte Settings tab of the Provisioning Agent.
Upon download of the Provisioning Agent, a secure connection is automaticaly established with your Circuit domain. For security reasons, a new download of the Provisioning Agent invalidates the previous connection and establishes a new one. Ensure that you operate using the latest downloaded version.
You can also install the Provisioning Agent to run as a service in Windows. For more information, see "Installing the Provisioning Agent to run as a service in Windows".
