Configuring Syncplicity to work with Circuit when on-premise storage is enabled

Last updated:

If you have an Syncplicity Enterprise Edition account and on-premise storage has been enabled for you, your Syncplicity IT administrator must update the Syncplicity On-Premise Storage Connector configuration file to allow file sharing with Circuit users.

The Syncplicity IT administrator should perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Syncplicity On-Premise Storage Connector configuration file: /etc/syncp-storage/syncp-storage.conf
  2. Make sure that the Circuit address associated with your region is included in the following line:

    syncplicity.sso.targetOrigin: "https://my.syncplicity.com; https://eu.syncplicity.com"

If this line does not exist in the configuration file, it must be introduced.

For example, in order to use a Syncplicity Enterprise Edition account with eu.yourcircuit.com, the line must be updated as following:

    syncplicity.sso.targetOrigin:"https://my.syncplicity.com;https://eu.syncplicity.com;https://eu.yourcircuit.com"

  3. Update the cors configuration parameter under the syncplicity.ws section to include the Circuit address associated with your region:

For example, in order to use a Syncplicity Enterprise Edition account with eu.yourcircuit.com, the cors line must be updated as following:

    cors: "*.syncplicity.com;*.yourcircuit.com"

  4. Save the changes in the configuration file.
